Newspapers online
BBC has a story about how newspapers are battling their dropping print readership. It mentions a couple of different revenue streams for online news sites besides just online advertisements. France’s Libération is doing something pretty innovative. Instead of offering all of the same content from their print edition on their website, they use the web to point to their expanded print content, encouraging readers to buy it. It’s a very different approach from what most newspapers are doing.
