Pixel by Pixel
I work with a lot of print designers, so naturally vectored images are all around me. I usually end up doing more pixel by pixel stuff than I do vectors though because I do web. One reason is that that monitors are such a low resolution, every pixel really does matter. I ran across another reason tonight why vectors still can’t meet my needs.

Notice from left to right, the quality of the antialiasing increases. The big shocker is that by using the selection tool in photoshop, you actually end up getting a slightly better curve than a vector in photoshop. I tried to see if I could get an answer why that is, but the adobe forums proved to be less than helpful.
